Live somewhre warm?  Buy this watch.

This is an HK/Japan market model.  I bought it out of my pleasure with my other Promaster.  It may be pretty, but it deserves the Promaster label it wears.  It has: 

• Medium size: 39mm wide, 12mm thick - nice and wearable
• 100m water resistance
• 1/10th second chrono
• alarm
• 24 hr clock in subdial
• 9 month power reserve
• perpetual calendar (good until 2100)
• 2nd time zone quick switch

The crown doesn't lock down, but rather operates the 'mode' that is indicated by the 6 o'clock subdial.

The bracelet is fantastic.  this is my 3rd Duratech Titanium watch and it really is a great material, not just strength to weight ratio, but also the hardness/scratch resistance compared to regular Ti (or should I say to the oxidized outer layer of regular Ti).  The bracelet configuration is awesome too - so vented, great for hot days, yet doesn't catch arm hair.

It says quality.  It sold out fast when I had found it.  I've seen it in early 2006 for around $450, and for what you get, it's still a bargain.
