The watch that can do it all...
If one was stuck on a deserted island, this is the watch to have. Movement C650 Incredible 4 Year Power Reserve Charges in sunlight or indoors Time and Calendar in 22 Time Zones (30 cities) Three World Time Alarms (as in, they figure the time zone)1/100 Second Chronograph Measures up to 24 Hours 99 Minute Countdown Timer One-Touch Interchangeable Analog/Digital Times (very cool)Rotating Slide Rule Computer (E6B Flight Computer) Screw Back Case Push-Button Safety Clasp Low Charge Indicator Window (1.5 days reserve)Time Reset Advisory Power Saver Function 100 Meter Water Resistant Solid Stainless Steel Case and Bracelet The crown isn't screw-down, rather operates the function selector shown in the 6 o'clock subdial: (Ti version shown for convenience) At first, I wasn't sure about the integrated bracelet - looked too much like Matt LeBlanc's armor suit on "lost in space" but it's turned out to be very wearable and comfortable. The lack of lume in the digital can be a pain if you plan on stopwatching at night, etc, but the analog/digital swap of timezones makes the analog a great crutch in the dark. Speaking of ligh, how long does it take to charge? Incandescant 20" (3,000 Lux) | | | | 29 Hours | Outdoors, cloudy (10,000 Lux) | | | | 9 Hours | Outdoors, Sunny (100,000 Lux) | | | | 5.0 Hours |
